Looking for a strong Information Architect for a major agency downtown Toronto. They are a tight team of UXers that work together and collaborate to create the best of the best.

The Job: Senior User Experience Architect

- Advanced skills in designing websites apps, and software user interfaces.

- Meeting with users, clients, stake holders to understand requirements

-Analyzing tasks

-Workshops, design meetings

-Time management

-Making project theirs- with typical creative direction

-Very team oriented- meetings and strategists, writers, visual designers, developers

- E-commerce flow and signups. Complex data in responsive environment

- Both Analytical and Creative

- Doesn't have to be a coder- just familiar with coding

-Develop deliverables : site maps, research, finding personas, journeys, types of drawings- wireframes, sketches, interaction, maps, prototypes

You are someone who likes to dig in to a problem, is undaunted by ambiguity, and likes to bring order and sense to disparate elements.

You are an innovative solution-oriented person who can bring one or more related disciplines to the table, such as coding, graphic design, engineering, business analysis, writing and editing, research, information science, you name it.

-5+ years of UX design experience

-Agency or consulting experience

-Facilitation of large and small groups

-Direct experience mentoring junior designers and other team members

You should have intimate familiarity with web and app development,


-Web technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks

-Responsive and adaptive design concepts and practice

-Design for mobile devices

-Design for eCommerce

-Design for content management (cataloguing, taxonomies, template design)

-Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

-Content strategy

-Axure experience
