Senior User Experience Designer

We're looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to help us build the next generation of services that help developers create great games.

Our team builds analytics and intelligence services to help developers understand how their game being used by customers across the world. Our work entails creating highly usable and scalable products that take mountains of big data and turn it into understandable and actionable information. Our customers range from 1-person indie developers all the way up to major publishers whose apps are used by millions of people worldwide.

Are you a seasoned UX designer with a strong grasp of graphic design spanning data visualization and visual communication? Have you built digital products used by thousands or millions of customers? Do you relish helping set product direction through user experience? Are you passionate about maintaining that experience from product inception all the way to live customer interaction? Do you love video games?

We're looking for someone that answers "YES! Bring it on!" to all of the above. Working with product managers, development managers, TPMs, and engineers, you will build products that will help developers understand their customers. Your output might include a dashboard to help business managers monitor app portfolio performance, or perhaps ingenious tools to help game developers balance difficulty levels for their brand new game. Overall, you will enable developers to take big data and manipulate it into actionable information. Whether designing insightful new reports, or creating innovative experiences that help both developers and end customers, you will drive the UX process from research to delivery.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Informatics, HCI, Human Factors, Graphic Design or a related field; or 10+ years working experience in the industry
- Demonstrated ability to drive UX process and deliverables, and communicate vision and specifications to engineering
- Expertise in standard design tools including those in Adobe CS
- Experience in modern web design, including HTML5, CSS3, SVG, etc.
- Experience working with multiple disciplines, including product management, engineering, and marketing

Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Informatics, HCI, Human Factors, Graphic Design or a related field; or 15+ years working experience in the industry
- Experience designing solutions for both web applications and static/print pieces
- Experience designing data-intensive UI
- Experience driving user research and usability
- You are best friends with Edward Tufte or Stephen Few
