Senior User Experience Architect

Our client in Brampton is looking for a Senior Information Architect.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high exposure service design project. As a Senior Information Architect, you will build your team and create new processes to be implemented across the business. You will lead the UX effort, where you will redesign existing products and create new products to be implemented across all devices.

This person will be responsible for conducting usability testing for mobile applications and devices such as iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone 8; identifies mobile user needs and ways to improve their overall experience, conducts research using a wide range of usability methods, analyzes user data, develops site maps, wireframes, page navigation, contextual links, and taxonomies, conducts accessibility audits.

This role is a 5 month contract, with possibility of an extension.

Required Qualifications:

This person will come with 5+ years experience with usability testing, user-centered analysis and conceptual design, web architecture, concrete understanding of information architecture, ethnographic user research, scenario design and prototype development, excellent knowledge and experience with usability methods such as contextual inquiry, surveying, user profiling, participatory design, web data analytics, heuristic evaluations, eye tracking studies, usability testing, low fidelity prototyping and creation of wire frames, process flows, flow charts, schematics, personas, user scenarios, use cases or content matrices; certification in usability is an asset.
