Senior UX Strategist

Our banking & cards client in Long Island City, NY seeks a UX Strategist for a brand new digital team! This role is a full time, open-ended contract role (expected to run a minimum of 3 months, with temp-perm possibilities) to support a key project.

As UX Strategist, you will partner closely with a cross-discipline team to invent and execute innovative omni-channel, brand experiences.

You will: Lead and conduct cultural trend reports, competitive reviews, opportunity assessments, target analyses, cross-channel audits, customer journeys, user research and usability studies, contact strategies and other CRM programs, business requirement definition, digital roadmaps and more.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all projects using Design Thinking principles with agile methods ensuring that every project with strategy and a well-defined problem to solve.
• Uncover rich insights from NPS data, digital analytics, first/second and third party research that can fuel remarkable solutions.
• Work with internal analytics partners to track the performance.
• Be a go-getter with an entrepreneurial attitude.

Experience and requirements:
• 7+ years of experience developing and implementing UX strategies that drove measureable results.
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. MBA preferred.
• Traditional planning experience, e.g. identifying customer, cultural and competitive insights and writing creative briefs
• Consulting experience – either management consulting or marketing consulting – is preferable.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation that align to an ideal customer journey
• Experience with technical facets of eCommerce or financial platforms
• Knowledge of the Design Thinking methodology and experience working with teams through the process of investigation, ideation and implementation.
• Experience leading research activities (stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and usability studies, etc.)
