Vitamin T is working alongside an association looking for a Senior UX Generalist. This person will be solely responsible for educating and implementing the UX strategy and design for their website and corresponding mobile. The ideal person will be a strong communicator and leader and work on all phases of the UX - research, strategy, IA, visual design and testing. This is a contract-to-hire position. Sound like you? Position Summary:
Responsible for the user experience and organizing content for website, mobile apps, video resources, and social media outlets. This includes the website's branding experience, content look and feel, messaging, information architecture and site features and functionality. Work daily with design and development teams to troubleshoot issues and implement new features on web site and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee/develop the look and feel of the website and mobile apps so that the user is able to easily navigate and use features and functionality to create a seamless user experience.
• Responsible for ongoing design and execution of UX web, mobile and device strategy and operations.
• Create mock-ups, prototypes and wireframes with visual layout tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Conduct concept testing, develop personas based on desired end user audiences, and perform task/user analysis
• Perform or utilize qualitative and quantitative research to create compelling online experiences that generate business results
• Plan and execute strategies that drive final interactive product development

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of web design and UI/UX experience required.
• Fluency in best practices for web-based or mobile-based information architecture and design; Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques, and ability to implement solutions based on unique needs of specific users .
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form required.
• Experience applying both qualitative (research) and quantitative (analytics) insights to inform a design approach.
• Knowledge of and experience with user experience best practices
• Must be able to provide online portfolio or other relevant UI and UX work samples.
