Senior UX Designer (Urgent Need)

This role is extremely* time sensitive as the person who will be doing the training will be on leave starting the 15th. We have laid out very strict timelines for this position so please take careful note on the following:
-Sponsor will be reviewing resumes Monday and setting up phone / in person assessments for first thing in the morning on Tuesday. An offer will be made on Tuesday and we will expedite the onboarding so that a candidate can be ready to start by the 15th. Candidates for this position MUST be available to start on the 15th, no exceptions can be made for this.

-The business IT admin design team, they are the subset of the UX team. The project is a major redesign of an admin portal. The specific design work will involve development of UX flows.
-This role is for a senior interaction designer; it should not be a junior level

Requirements:
Top 3:
• Core Interaction Design skills / creative design ability
• Familiarity with Adobe studios and with UX practices and principles
• Experience working independently with limited guidance as a senior designer

Other requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience is a must
• If they have a background or degree from a design school that would be ideal


Basic skills:
• Designs user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products.
• Writes functionality design specifications.
• Design and implement prototypes, mock ups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams.
• Generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group. Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
• Acts as consultant to other team leads and may manage external production and design resources.
• Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required.
• Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required.
• Advanced experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams is required.
• Advanced knowledge of web technologies (i.e. HTML and CSS).
• Fluency with standard design software tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) required.
• Advanced interaction design and web technology skills (i.e. Flash) may be required.
• Strong knowledge or experience with database served websites.
• Experience working with rich client or web applications preferred.
• Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
• Must be familiar with industry standards and trends.
• Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
• Must have ability to own and drive projects.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
