You will be responsible for the user experience of new products that will be developed for the client's Product Development & Delivery group. This will include self-directed creation of wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas as they relate to our web-based product offerings. Additionally this position will need to incorporate data-driven feedback loops in order to iterate to an optimized product within a given market thereby creating ideal product/market fit.

The Team / The Business: The team is composed of self-sufficient senior technologists who are capable of rapidly prototyping and developing ideas. The team is also interested in finance and understanding what the story is behind the numbers. The team will adopt principles of visual story-telling to create products that are impactful and novel. The team will leverage principles adopted from the Lean Startup methodology to constantly iterate on product ideas and pivot as required.

Responsibilities:
Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas. These artifacts should be convertible into working products. Initiate, suggest & lead all UI work to create a more intuitive user experience.
Create novel user interfaces that are easy to use and engage our customers. Direct the visual appearance of all new features and enhancements for our web-based product offering.
Act as a “go to” UX resource with in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards. Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations.

Qualifications:
Five or more years of UX design experience for software applications which leverage various channels including; web, mobile and tablet.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in interaction design, new media design or related design field.
Experience with the following:
Implementation of Responsive Web Design (RWD) solutions
Designing with advanced visualization technologies such as D3.js and Processing.js
UI frameworks and tools such as: HTML5, CSS3, ExtJS, JavaScript/JQuery
At least one UX design tool such as Axure, PhotoShop, Illustrator or Fireworks
Familiar with Lean Startup methodology, A/B testing and Cohort Testing and how to create a closed-feedback loop. An ability to do motion graphics design, video/sound editing, rendering & animation.
