Specialising in home entertainment, our client are always looking at new technologies to further enhance the home entertainment experience and are now planning on venturing into the world of virtual reality. With over 20 years of entertainment expertise, our client are looking for a talented new team member who is excited to join them on this journey
Our client are looking for a talented, digitally focussed Designer that specialises in UX and UI Design. The chosen candidate will join the Creative Studio within the Central Marketing team as a Senior UX/UI Designer, working across internal and external builds. These builds are usually to be rolled out across Europe, so someone with experience and an understanding of the requirements of localisation for specific markets would be highly beneficial. Day to day responsibilities will vary, working through the entire UX process, creating technical wireframes and high fidelity mock ups, through to visual design, working closely with the digital guidelines to execute across multiple channels.
This position is to sit within a close-knit team of designer that is part of a larger team, the role will consist of collaborating with these teams and other teams within the company, especially the Front End team to review developments. This role will consist of a variety of small and big build projects, so the chosen candidate must be comfortable working multiple projects at once and able to prioritise work flow.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be an expert in the the field of digital design, specialising in UX and Visual UI Design. Our client require a candidate with a real focus on User Centred Design, someone who is able to follow the process to achieve the best outcome for the user. An understanding of the different design requirements for mobile, tablet and desktop is crucial.
Other skills include
Full proficient in Adobe CS
Expert knowledge of UX tools such as Invision, Axure, Omnigraffle
Experience in the entertainment industry would be beneficial
Understanding of product localisation for European markets
Experience working within a UX team
Strong conceptual abilities and creative ideas
Excellent communication skills and previous experience liaising with stakeholders
