Senior UX Architect

As a Senior User Experience Architect, you will be responsible for creating insight-driven, multi-channel design solutions. You will work in close collaboration with account teams and client stakeholders to meet business and user needs through meaningful experience concepts and executed designs. You will work with the Creative Director, Senior Experience Designers, other Creative, Strategy, and Technology team members on client accounts to ensure the creative work is on-brand, and on-strategy. You will perform user and market research; create innovative, effective, and usable solutions; detail design solutions; and present and defend your work.

What you’ll do:
Perform qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user needs, perceptions, and preferences.
Understand strategic goals, business requirements, and processes through interactions with client stakeholders.
Participate in the brainstorming and creation of concepts for best-in-class user experiences.
Translate abstract concepts into simple, elegant, and innovative designs expressed in sketches, diagrams, and rapid prototypes for desktop, tablet, mobile, and everywhere else users engage with client brands.
Design the architecture, navigation, user flows, information, and interaction solutions that effectively and directly solve user needs.
Present design concepts and deliverables to internal and client teams.
Work in close collaboration with Creative, Strategy, and Development team members.
Be a tireless advocate for the user.

Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for:
Three-plus years of experience in an Experience Architect role, preferably in an agency environment.
B.S./B.A. degree in interaction design, psychology, HCI, information architecture, industrial design, or related field. M.S./M.A. degree a plus.
Ability to quickly understand a customer’s business model and processes.
Proven record of successfully launched projects demonstrating innovative creative thinking.
Strong understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principles and techniques.
Strong understanding of the kinds of experiences made possible by current digital technologies.
Ability to create effective, elegant, and usable design solutions to complex problems.
Ability to present and defend your work.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Axure.
Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical thinking skills, and leadership potential.
