Senior Social/Digital Strategist

We are currently working with a dynamic, successful and well established PR and Communications agency who are looking to grow their social team.

As a result of increasing demand from many of their existing consumer and B2B clients, they are looking to hire a senior social and digital strategist to their team. This is a very exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial strategist to build a strong social team. For this role we’re looking for an experienced, talented and entrepreneurial social media strategist who will guide this agency's clients’ social strategies and help build their overall digital offering to existing as well as new clients.

You will have a solid understanding of how content is created, distributed and amplified using social and digital channels. You will have proven experience taking an idea or concept from strategy through to implementation, selecting the most appropriate digital channels and practices to ensure maximum impact and exposure. You should also have an appreciation of brand reputation management and protection, and be competent in counselling clients on how to use social and digital channels to best effect during these times.

A key part of your role will be to mentor and coach the rest of the team so that integrated social and digital campaigns are central to the agency’s thinking. You will also provide sound advice on best practice reporting and analysis, not only for social and digital activities but to improve PR reporting, analysis and evaluation as well.

You will be expected to bring new business opportunities to the agency and to help guide pitches to the highest of standards.
