Senior Search Engine Marketing Representative

Aquent's Orange County electronic client is seeking a Search Engine Marketing Representative responsible for planning, executing, reporting and optimizing campaigns through Paid and Natural Search channels, Shopping Comparison sites, and re-targeting


Search Strategy and Planning:
Develop strategic approaches to meet or exceed business goals/metrics.
Develop budget recommendations, campaign approaches and implementation/optimization guidelines.
Recommend and implement ongoing Improvements of the contribution of SEM activities to the overall goals for units, revenue and profitability.
Continuously innovate Search campaigns through expansion, re-targeting and advanced testing.
Run and manage retargeting programs
Maintenance and Optimization
Present the recommendations and campaign rationale to direct manager.
Balance 3rd party campaign management tools with human optimization to drive maximum efficiency
Lead creative, copy development and testing.
Develop relevant keyword sets to align with business goals and ROI requirements
Manage Shopping comparison program and grow profitably
Execute optimization strategy including frequency of updates, expansion, and budget management
Recommend and implement ongoing analysis and studies of market share and share of the voice of the client and understand the competitive landscape to help determine growth potential for the client in Search Engines and shopping comparison sites, using tools such as Hitwise.
Develop and maintain an attribution model for all demand generation campaigns.

Measurement and Analysis
Build the campaign measurement framework.
Analysis of campaigns to determine the most profitable mixture of ad spend and growth opportunities.
Management of insertion orders, purchase orders and invoices and reconcile with budget and stay or target.
Assist with the development of all campaign results material highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaigns.

· Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related area.
· 3-5 years of business experience with at least 3 years experience managing paid media campaigns with Tier 1 Engines (Google and Bing) and shopping comparison sites are required.
· Working knowledge experience with Omniture is a must.
· Working knowledge and experience with the HitWise tool for market share and competitive insights.
· Advanced excel and database and presentation skills are a must.
· Experience with advanced campaign optimization tactics such as business rule implementation, A|B Testing, Multivariate Testing.
· Experience with attribution models
· Experience with Shopping Comparison sites optimization.
· Able to manage day-to-day program execution.
· Experience in managing and executing Organic Search programs is desired.
· Solid understanding of online advertising and direct marketing performance metrics.
· Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Possess exceptional time management skills.
