Senior SMB Acquisition Manager

Senior Marketing Manager, Small Business Acquisition, Contract role for maternity cover. Looking for someone to join on a 12 month contract, starting July 2016.

Will own and lead key initiatives aligned to the overall small business acquisition strategy to attract and win customers across the UK.
Working in partnership with all cross-functional marketing stakeholders, you will be accountable for the successful creation and delivery of world-class, integrated campaigns.
This position will be based in London Victoria but you will work with teams located across many of our global sites, including the US, Australia and Canada.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES:-
• Accountable for the SMB fiscal year targets and developing annual campaign plans aligned to these
• Become the SMB champion; building deep empathy by exploring customer/market data and audience motivations to drive the value proposition, promotions and messaging
• Create insight-driven, multi-channel campaigns to drive new customer growth and brand awareness
• Develop effective lead generation campaigns to grow prospect data pool, supported by automated lead nurture programme to drive engagement and ultimately conversion
• Build strong partnership with Telesales and Web channels to ensure that we are creating a delightful end-to-end experience for SMB prospects, with optimised sign up and conversion rates
• Work closely with Product Marketing to proactively recommend how upcoming feature releases can be incorporated into acquisition plans
• Manage the delivery of campaigns through creative agencies and partners, allocating and optimizing budget effectively to ensure delivery of targets
• Ongoing analysis of market landscape and competitor activity to recommend innovative, hypothesis-driven approaches to attract and win customers
• Identify and build strong relationships with industry influencers and relevant partners, aligned to core strategic objectives

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD DEMONSTRATE :

• solid marketing experience, including exposure to SaaS or B2B technology role
• Proven ability to lead data-driven, integrated, multi-channel campaigns, working within fixed budgets
• Track record of success in digital marketing; experienced with user funnels, testing and analytics
• Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills, ability to understand insights, develop a vision and make it come to life with actionable plans
• Operates well in an environment of rapid change, role modelling ability to manage multiple projects with fast paced delivery
• Customer focused; holds self and team accountable for identifying and leveraging big customer insights to drive growth
• Builds strong relationships with cross-functional, cross-geographical stakeholders across all levels of the business
• Positive, can-do attitude with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Prior people management experience a plus
