Senior SEM Manager

This is a great role for an experienced SEM specialist looking to work within an integrated agency environment and cross-channel campaigns!

The SEM Manager maintains and owns the relationship with all their clients within their portfolio and understands their client’s business including but is not limited to: goals and success metrics, other marketing, seasonality, USP’s, competitors and product set.

Through effective management and client understanding it is expected that a SEM Manager maintains and grows the monthly investment of their client base as well as meets and exceeds client goals and success metrics.

The main tasks of this role are:

1. To build and maintain an efficient and world leading SEM product
2. To build and obtain relationships with third party suppliers that include but are not limited to: search engines, software providers and customised solution providers
3. To work closely with top tier clients ensuring a complete understanding of their goals and to maintain and build solid relationships
4. Manage, retain and effectively train all direct reports

Key Responsibilities;

• Work with the Group Director of Search to create sales proposals and support RFP’s
• Bring to life integrated communication strategies by working closely with all departments
• To plan and develop new SEM product offerings and modify existing product offerings in line with search engine changes and client requirements
• To plan and develop Google Display & Facebook campaigns.
• To keep up to date with the search industry changes and the latest practices and procedures for website optimisation and feed this information back into products and people
• To manage the workload and training for individuals within your team
• Mentor and develop all direct reports by mutually agreeing and working closely together on individual personal development plans (PDP)
• To create best in class strategies and optimise campaign strategies on an ongoing basis for clients
• To take the lead role in client project meetings
• Work with SEO managers & strategists to leverage SEO learnings
• Work with wider Digital and Social team to integrate learnings where possible.
• Overall management and accountability for the delivery of all SEM campaigns within client portfolio
