• Inform and inspire the product development team to create leading user experience solutions

• Partner with Product Managers, UX team to manage research requests, collect briefs and prioritize business questions

• Plan and execute research activities that align with our business goals, uncover customer needs and result in actionable recommendations

• Lead synthesis of qualitative and quantitative customer data to inform and influence stakeholders

• Develop a strong understanding of our customers, business objectives and company mission

• Work with UX Designers, Product Managers and project teams to influence product decisions and integrate insights into design deliverables

• Maintain consistent, clear and actionable customer advocacy

• Conduct and participate in ideation and collaborative workshops as required

• Develop best practices including methods, measurements and cutting edge user research practices

• Commit to a user centered process, quality and continuous improvement

• Manage open and timely communication with internal stakeholders

• 5+ years of experience

• Mastery of a variety of qualitative research methods

• Proven track record conducting interviews, usability tests, site visits, card sorts, focus groups, user profiling, task analysis and diary studies

• Experience designing and executing test plans in the field, in the lab or using digital methods

• Experience developing deep insights and customer advocacy in product teams

• Strong command of user experience principles, design methodologies and collaborative problem solving

• Portfolio of past work/case studies that illustrates a drive towards customer understanding and actionable design direction

• Excellence in capturing business goals and working with collaborative teams

• Clear communication, problem-solving, facilitation and presentation skills

• Established experience in software development

• A degree in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, or a related field

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems
