• Reports to Production Studio Manager
Apply research, problem-solving, strategic, and critical thinking in assessing copy solutions to confirm appropriate interpretation and implementation of creative briefs
Ensure that copy solutions meet brand standards and requirements (style, voice, tone) and that verbal and visual expressions work hand in hand
Ensure that copy, style, formatting, and punctuation are accurate, concise and consistent.
Actively identify, recommend, and participate in development of improvements in workflow, processes, editorial tools, creative outcomes, etc.
Drive awareness and usage of editorial tools and message content
Contribute to internal department initiatives, including updating and creating processes, documentation, tools, etc.
Provide alternative point of view if project work is incorrect or not in the best interests of the client.
Build networks with peers, colleagues, and project partners through the collaboration and experience of project work.
Contribute to the development of client presentations
Present, explain, and sell creative rationale to individuals, creative teams, project partners, and leadership
Provide editorial and problem-solving leadership with creative teams and project partners
Provide additional copywriting support as suitable to the team and project partners
Provide lateral leadership (i.e. influence without authority) to get things done through others both inside and outside the editorial team and Creative department.
