Senior Project Manager

Great 6month opportunity for a Senior Project Manager at a large pharma company!

Critical Duties (Position Description and Responsibilities)
• Support the oversight, management, development, and execution of relevant business process projects critical to the Promotional Material Review and Approval processes around key processes for US Pharmaceuticals
• Oversee implementation of project plans to institutionalize approved changes into the business model
• Responsible for effectively communicating project changes to the stakeholders via developing training modules, conducting appropriate workshops and working sessions as necessary
• Liaison with various groups (Marketing teams, Learning and development, IT, marketing operations, medical, legal and regulatory teams) to ensure successful execution of key strategic decisions by senior management
• Serve as team representative at designated meetings and respond to questions/tasks related to business process management/modeling
• Supports areas of change and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Promotional Material Review and Approval processes
• Creates and manages work breakdown structure (WBS) and scheduled project plan.
• Responsible for developing and monitoring business process metrics for key business projects
• Responsible for reporting metrics and knowledge of utilities
• Responsible for SharePoint support and management of Review Central content and end user support
• Develops, maintains and distributes business process documentation to stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications Needed
• Strong project management skills (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)
• Understanding of process modeling concepts/techniques
• Commercial processes acumen and track record for managing solutions resulting in increased business performance
• Understanding of promotional material approval processes, strategy, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
• Participation in process improvement and Stakeholder training activities for several Commercial projects
• Experience working within cross-functional project team to understand business requirements and delivery process
• Assimilating and correlating disconnected business documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
• Collaboration with business subject matter experts to understand and document promotional material review and approval processes and requirements across various functional areas
• Reviewing and refining requirements with key stakeholders to explore and document the requirements, current practices, and future needs of the review and approval process for promotional and non-promotional materials
• Analyzing process models and identify workflow patterns to create standards for implementation
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Visio to be able to update process flows in the SOP

Minimum Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline preferred) or above
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Technical skills (ie: SharePoint, datamarts, Excel modeling, etc) are highly valued, along with knowledge of pharmaceutical promotional material review/approval processes
