Senior Project Manager

This Brand Project Manager will provide day-to-day project management of a cross-functional
brand implementation team. (S)he will be accountable for removing obstacles for
the team, managing scope and making sure that the team remains in rhythm. The candidate
will work with the project owner to negotiate resource needs with functional managers /
division heads throughout the company and ensure that the stakeholders and project
community are kept informed of the project’s status and progress. (S)he will be accountable
for coordinating internal and external teams, driving best practices and executing timesensitive,
critical tasks across divisions. (S)he will ensure schedules are developed and
updated regularly, will escalate issues and prepare change requests as needed, and
identify and manage project risks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Works with the Project Owner and the project team to establish metrics and measure
success against those metrics.
 Aligns the project stakeholders, ensures the project’s vision is communicated, and ensures
the appropriate staff, agencies, and partners are trained, knowledgeable and passionate
about the new branding.
 Coordinates with cross-organization PMs to develop and maintain the brand budget,
manage project resource allocation, and ensure that components of the band
implementation are delivered on time and within budget.
 Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools and project management software, and
constantly monitor and present reports on project progress, quality assurance, problems
and solutions to all stakeholders.
 Leads the planning and implementation of the project -- defining project tasks, resource
requirements, and transition strategies for every branded asset -- coordinating the
involvement of marketing, operations, site development and other functional areas across
the organization.
 Identifies, communicates and evaluates project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Escalates and resolves risks to ensure the rebrand project is delivered on time and within
budget.
 Collaborates with the Project Owner and core brand implementation team to provide clear
direction to achieve brand rollout goals. Leads an audit of current brand assets being
considered for rebranding, manage the prioritization of rebranding the assets, and provide
guidance on how to prioritize the rebranding of campaigns and ad-hoc assets.
 Maintains the perseverance to drive and sustain the tactical requirements needed to
achieve the new brand vision, while being resilient and flexible, and inspiring and motivating
the team.
 Constantly communicates with the team, help facilitate opinions and feedback from team
members and follow through on commitments.
 Fosters a work environment of collaboration, in which teams and people are able to perform
to the best of their abilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
 3-6 years of broad applied project management, preferably in managing brand
implementation projects and cross-functional teams; (Project Management professional
certification, preferred).
 At least 3-6 years of hands-on experience in the digital and/or creative space
 Impeccable interpersonal skills; strong relationship management, project management,
negotiation and collaboration skills.
 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to support both leadership
and project team members; to use discretion to make sound decisions, and offer strategic
input to complex business problems.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience facilitating meetings to
obtain business requirements, functional specifications, and to achieve objectives.
 Experience in the education industry is a plus.

 Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking
in a fast-paced, demanding environment
 Excellent problem-solving skills
 Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking
 Flexibility, initiative, dedication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
 Be a skilled, creative, confident presenter/negotiator
 Familiarity with Project Management tools (i.e. MS Project, SmartSheet, Primavera)
 Knowledge of development and production process for all types of digital and print
marketing assets
