The management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and on brief. It will be your role to provide leadership to ensure best in class creative is delivered using the most appropriate solution. Support your Project Director in leading and managing a team of PMs and provide leadership on client accounts.
Leadership. Demonstrate leadership and an entrepreneurial approach, to ensure best in class delivery is achieved across all projects and through all stages of a project – through strategy, concepting, production to QA/delivery/live and through post live support. Facilitate and encourage cross-departmental collaboration by setting and managing expectations, leading project meetings, proactively managing project resources, budgets and timings, delegating appropriately and effectively and motivating project teams. Exhibit a high degree of independence and autonomy in decision-making. Take judgement calls and lead by example. Mentor, motivate and support Project Managers, supporting the Project Directors in holding staff appraisals, setting personal goals and measuring progression against objectives. Be a reference point for expert project management advice and ensure the highest standards and best practices are maintained.
Creative. Foster great ideas and find the best delivery approach to support creative, while ensuring commercial success. Ensure ideas are realistic and achievable, and relentlessly work to find the best delivery solution within time and budget. Help to drive the agency’s creative agenda, contributing innovative production ideas that help make our work effective and famous.
Commercial. Delivery of projects on time, on budget and on brief. Ownership of project and programme commercials; proactively and appropriately managing project scope and resources to protect margins (within a tolerance of 5% overrun), including the running of weekly and end-of-job financial reconciliation and the creation of accurate SOWs. Takes responsibility for project profitability and reports at the Projects meeting. Management of suppliers, with oversight from Project Director and/or Head of Project Management, in creating, negotiating and managing contracts and budgets.
Delivery. Take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of high quality work. Supporting Project Directors to implement account delivery processes. Evaluate the brief/ client requirements to determine the most appropriate delivery approach. Proactively manage project risks and escalate to your Project Director, ensuring you have a clear mitigation plan and solutions in place. Manage the project team and client’s expectations, with the support of the Account Management team, to make sure all changes (internal and external) are managed appropriately. Help to build an outstanding ‘black book’ of 3rd party production resources. Proactively bring 3rd parties’ innovative thinking and ideas into the agency to inspire work that puts us ahead of the rest of the industry.
Partnership. Facilitate an environment that fosters collaboration between departments. Work with each of the key disciplines to ensure smooth and appropriate delivery.Ensure that creative feasibility is managed with the technical teams and concepts are provided to the client with appropriate delivery plans in place. Work closely with the Account team to manage delivery expectations, timelines, budgets and the project status with the client.
Clients – Be the client’s delivery partner, demonstrate and foster trust in Isobar’s delivery capabilities. Work closely with clients to manage their expectations whilst giving them assurance. Be the voice of reason as project risks increase or scope changes, to ensure that overall delivery objectives are met, whilst maintaining innovation, timings and project budgets. Work with Project Directors to ensure that delivery processes/ways of working are adapted to clients delivery needs. Alongside your client teams, take responsibility for the support and effective implementation of these processes. The running of client-facing workshops.

Management of multi-discipline teams: Strategy, UX, Creative, Design, Technology and QA
Experience of producing film and content, as well as knowledge and awareness of delivery principles of TV, radio and print production
Some experience of line management and mentorship of project managers and Junior Project Managers
Management of platform builds
Experience working with distributed teams and client stakeholders across multiple territories.
