Senior Project Manager- Pharma experience

Temporary freelance role through summer, with possibility of going long term

As a Pharma Project Manager, you have exceptional attention to detail, are process driven and are able to partner effectively with both clients and internal teams at all levels of the organization. You will use your project management expertise and relationship building skills to guide our clients through delivery process on time, on budget and to exceptional quality. Your involvement will traverse the full project lifecycle, from scoping and estimating to completion, whilst acting as the focal point behind the client partnership to deliver great solutions.

You will possess the ability and experience to plan and deliver both single and multiple stream projects seamlessly to an agreed scope of the project.

The day-to- day responsibilities of this role include:

 Project scoping and estimating: working collaboratively as part of a cross functional team to scope and estimate new projects for existing and new clients and assuming ownership of the final Statement of Work

 Project execution: managing work streams of local, offshore and third-party resources across all project phases from Discovery and Strategy through Design, Build and Deployment

 Project budget management: managing and reporting on project budgets to revenue and margin targets set in proposal and Statement of Work documents

 Project documentation: producing all project life-cycle documentation, including project plans, weekly status reports, Project Initiation Documents (PID) and all other project lifecycle documentation defining individual project requirements.

 Project quality: monitoring the quality of all aspects of all projects: scope, risk, schedule, budget, delivery on time and on budget and all associated client communication

 Resourcing: working with resource leads to properly staff project teams with both internal and external resources in accordance with the Statement of Work and project plan

 Communication: communicating confidently with the ability to influence internal team members and clients to execute on project plans

 Leadership: coaching and mentoring junior project managers as well as driving process improvements across the project delivery department


 7+ years’ experience as a digital project manager, preferably in a SAAS and/or agency environment. Must have experience managing pharma projects.

 Flawless core project management skills and strong knowledge of the key components of both Waterfall and Agile project management and associated tools, best practices and methodologies

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure

 Strong written and oral presentation skills

 Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail

 Strong negotiation, mediation and facilitation skills

 The ability to create and manage third-party relationships at a senior level

 Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

 Experience working with offshore development teams

 Advanced working knowledge of project management tools, including MS Project and JIRA
