Aquent's client is looking for a Project Manager. Below are the requirements.

Project Assistant Requirements

Job Duties
1. Modifying and creating project status reports.
2. Attend project meetings, take notes, summarize, and send recaps with action items to team members, which consist of people in higher level roles. Summarize discussions and next steps independently, resulting in few if any corrections before publication.
3. Meeting setup – including Skype meetings. Requires savvy when scheduling meetings on short notice. Be able to negotiate alternatives with meeting recipients when schedules are tight.
4. Assemble packets of materials for use in meetings.
5. Modify all types of Office documents (large excel spreadsheets, Powerpoints, etc.)
6. Managing lists in Sharepoint – managing the sharepoint repository and adjusting the structure of a Sharepoint site as needed.
7. Participate in materials management processes in order to execute tasks such as organization of materials, communications about next steps, logging actions and managing data attributes accurately.
8. Participate in meetings & facilitate keeping track of parking lot items, take meaningful notes and prepare in minutes or summary format with action items.
9. Consolidate input of others into one document, such as a roadmap. Publish it after receiving appropriate approvals.
10. Support process of creating slide decks in PowerPoint. Not expecting them to invent the material, but create the slide with content provided them.
11. Status updates sent out to project participants.

Required Technical Skills:
1. Proven excellence in written and verbal communication, to include:
a. Writing reports and emails without spelling and grammatical errors. Communication should be concise and easy to understand.
b. Verbal skills: Use of correct grammar – able to project thoughts and recommendations succinctly.
2. Ability to understand complex data relationships, and manage the data accurately.
3. Excellent MS Outlook skills – particularly meeting setup, room reservation, rescheduling other people’s commitments.
4. Able to handle complex instructions, situations, and data with little supervision or coaching .
5. MS Sharepoint – Some experience required; understands how to update documents, navigate through document libraries and lists, export to Excel, update data.
6. Attention to detail – highly critical. Able to ensure all data is updated properly in Sharepoint lists, meeting minutes.
7. Meeting minutes – Able to summarize the top points made; logically consolidate multiple thoughts into one.
8. Ability to respond to changing priorities with ease.
9. Quick picker-upper of MS Office tricks – good at researching different ways to do things
10. Beyond basic skills with MS Office – good at Powerpoint and other ways to visually represent project status and approach
11. MS Project (basic skills)
Required Soft skills:
1. Own up to mistakes when necessary
2. Friendly; approachable, willingly offers suggestions for improvement in a humble manner
3. Seeks learning in the form of coursework or other forms when job performance demands it
4. Be able to use technology (phone conferencing, office tools) with confidence.
