Senior Program Marketing Manager

One of Aquent's utility clients in the San Francisco Bay Area is looking for a Senior Program Marketing Manager for their Workforce Development team. They are looking for someone to develop and implement the marketing strategy and campaign.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Program Marketing Manager is responsible for development and implementation of communication, marketing strategy and campaign.
The Senior Program Marketing Manager must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and may have specialized knowledge of electric and/or gas utility operations, stakeholder management, communications, analytics, statistics and reporting, and marketing. In addition, this individual will have a proven ability as an effective facilitator, cross-functional team leader, and strategic thinker.
Development and management of program marketing strategy and campaigns as well as:

• MARKETING STRATEGY & PLANNING: Lead strategic thinking for how to position and communicate our programs and program graduates to maximize awareness, acquisition, retention and hiring manager satisfaction goals.
• MARKETING PLAN DEVELOPMENT / EXECUTION: Determine specific activities to achieve marketing goals including promotion, event marketing, public relations, direct marketing, online/social/digital, advertising, toolkits, grassroots/community outreach, and on-site marketing. Manage the development and execution of holistic marketing campaigns including advertising, web, collateral materials and events including TV/radio spots, print ads, online banners, micro sites, mailers, fact sheets, training materials and other media and materials. This includes working with internal and external business partners to develop and execute specific plan elements.
• MARKET RESEARCH: Partner with internal business partners to test and qualify program graduate positioning to enhance standing with hiring managers.
• DATA ANALYSIS: Leverage hiring manager data, research and campaign results to assess and evaluate marketing plan cost efficiencies and effectiveness.
• BUDGET TRACKING / MANAGEMENT: Manage program marketing budgets, track spending, recommend budgets and budget reallocation to achieve overall goals. Recommend and incorporate marketing strategy and plan adjustments in order to achieve goals within established budgets and timeframes.
• VENDOR / CONTRACT MANAGEMENT: May develop vendor / contractor agreements working with internal business partners. Ensure all contracts and vendor agreements and work meet all contractual, regulatory and PG&E sourcing requirements and that services and payments are rendered as expected.
• MARKETING COLLATERAL DEVELOPMENT: Develop and produce marketing collateral such as the existing Insight and PowerPathway E-News newsletters, the PowerPathway Annual Report, and various other collateral pieces and templates for the team.
• INTERNAL COLLABORATION: Work with internal Corporate Affairs and Human Resources personnel on brand and marketing and recruiting items and initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Communications or other related field or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 4 years of related marketing work experience

DESIRED
• Two or more years of Utility Industry experience.
• Master’s Degree in Business, Communications, Statistics, or the ability to write at a graduate level
• Prior experience in multiple functions of a company or exposure to a holistic view of a company
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and Access.
