Senior Program Manager

Our fortune 500 client is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive a significant program across within their Global Product & Engineering, Marketing and Operations organizations.

The program spans multiple teams, projects, geographic locations, time zones, deliverables, and involve complex technologies. The Senior Program Manager in this role will help plan, execute, track and manage progress against program goals.

The right candidate will have excellent experience in program management, change management and organizational dynamics and preferably be someone who has managed legal / regulatory compliance programs.

Responsibilities include:
• Project/Program planning & execution
• Ensure all teams align with external corporate planning expectations.
• Manage major collective activities, issues, and risks across agile teams in support of the program.
• Ensure measurable KPIs are developed for the program, and that they align to the overall KPIs for the product.
• Manage stakeholder communication regarding release planning and delivery.
• Ensure regular, active communication with adjacent programs and external stakeholders, including international regions.
• Remove impediments for the teams within the program as needed
• Identify program impediments and address including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed
• Lead program retrospectives and commitment to improvement on a regular cadence
• Contributes to and demonstrates a solid understanding of program vision and roadmap
• Maintain awareness of cross product/program synergies and actively communicate opportunities to simplify or better align work across teams.
• Lead effective project / program governance, stakeholder management, and communications ensuring that stakeholders have adequate understanding of timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies
• Assess the current methodology, identify / rationalize gaps vs. best practices, and continuously improve the process to support achievement of critical milestones.
• Actively collaborate with leaders across the technology organization to ensure that resources, dependencies, risks and constraints are aggressively managed in a timely fashion
