Senior Production Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and highly-motivated individual to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be an experienced production/project manager with a track record of delivering world class events, exhibit programs, interactive displays and installation projects.

Looking for people with backgrounds that started in Audio Visual companies, the theatre, or scenic / exhibit workshop.


• Work with project management, creative teams, and clients, to review project briefs, assess requirements.
• Deputize for Senior Project Manager and lead projects as required
• Create practical working solutions to creative proposals – turning the vision into reality.
• Be driven by ideas, imagination, innovation, instinct, intuition and inspiration
• Apply knowledge of client brands, products and competitive environment
• Budgeting of projects ensuring best value pricing, negotiating with suppliers and making contractor selection.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on-time to the highest possible standards.
• Exercise strong commercial management skills to maximize profitability.
• Specification of technical equipment and manufacturing
• Overseeing IT and communication requirements for projects.
• Champion Imagination processes and ensure compliance.
• Liaise with venues and site service representatives. Carry out site visits as appropriate.
• Management of all technical and manufacturing trades throughout the process, including logistics and plant hire. Producing production schedules and managing on-site temporary staff as required.
• Presenting budgets, in depth financial studies and other material to client teams and client purchasing teams as required.
• Manage health and Safety on all projects in conjunction with the Health and Safety manager, including creation of all documentation to standards.
• Maintaining positive relationships across the internal Imagination team.
• Track project spend and record all “added value”.
• Confidently present our production solutions, budgets and project proposals at client meetings.

Experience and skills required
• Relevant experience in similar industries and at an appropriate level, for at least 5 years, including international and multidiscipline work. Large scale exhibitions and events experience is a necessity.
• Understanding of technical staging, Audio Visual and construction processes.
• Educated to degree level/professional qualification or quality by experience (Degree in Technical theatre or similar would be an advantage).
• Confident and experienced with budgeting and negotiating large scale projects.
• Ability to multitask projects.
• Working knowledge of international Health and Safety regulations.
• Flexible and adaptable to new challenges and requirements.
• Must be able to communicate well and build relationships with clients, other departments / colleagues.
• Computer literate in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• A basic understanding of AutoCad and Vectorworks would be an advantage.
• Client handling and presentation skills.
• Written and spoken Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese advantageous
