Senior Product/Marketing Manager

Our client, a world leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to drive the marketing strategy for their new cloud-computing platform! This will be a 2 month contract opportunity to start, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will serve as the marketing liaison to the Business Models team, collaborating to bring to market additional cloud offerings worldwide. This is a unique and one of kind opportunity to serve on a team that is truly driving transformational change across the company.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Planning
• Develop fiscal year marketing plan and budgeting for Cross Industry Cloud strategy
• Work with business management to define the go-to-market strategies for new cloud offerings
• Develop foundational messaging and communications plans to support cloud business models team
• Prepare quarterly results presentations to be used with Leadership and CEO staff

Product Marketing
• Oversee brand strategy and governance for cloud computing platform
• Define value proposition and messaging, including its associated cloud services, mobile apps and related products
• Work with product management to determine marketing requirements for new product releases and milestones
• Research and define target customer and segments, and devise marketing strategies to reach these audiences
• Develop marketing programs to support all phases of customer acquisition – awareness, consideration, trial, conversion
• Define content strategy
• Determine marketing strategy at key events, including annual customer and sales meetings
• Stay current on industry innovations, trends and the competitive landscape
• Track and measure marketing results against the business objectives and KPIs

Cross-Industry Marketing
• Lead cross-organizational teams to share plans widely and ensure alignment across industry strategy, corporate marketing and field marketing teams
• Work with industry marketing leads to drive consistent, unified messaging as it relates to our cloud strategy and offerings worldwide

People Management
• Lead a growing team of marketing managers to support cross industry cloud initiatives and product marketing for the new cloud platform specifically

Requirements
• 8 years+ Product Marketing experience, preferably in technology
• Highly-motivated self-starter with broad business strategy and marketing skills
• Experience managing large marketing budgets and achieving performance targets
• A track record of excellent business relationships and ability to influence, both with and without direct authority, a number of different teams in the organization
• Can adapt and operate within a fast-paced, high-performance culture
• Demonstrates excellent judgment in setting and prioritizing goals
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, industries and /or products an asset
• Fun, energetic and collaborative personality with ability to energize people and motivate
• 4 year degree from an accredited institution in Business, or Marketing; or comparable degree
• MBA from top university preferred.
• Management consulting experience a plus.
