Senior Product Marketing Manager

AQUENT'S client is looking for a proactive and independent superstar senior product marketing manager to shape innovative customer acquisition & engagement programs driving new customers and revenue generation activities via client channels and properties, including desktop, mobile web, apps, and potential extensions to international markets. Your mission is unique and powerful: Fill the hearts, minds, and souls of their customers with premium audio content that enables learning and literate entertainment.

You will be a key player in helping further fuel the growth of this client - an already successful company. Your overarching focus will be on bringing innovative customer acquisition ideas to market in coordination with the product, creative and technology teams - with a relentless focus on the customer. The role requires a passion for results, a commitment to action-oriented analysis, and an attitude that anything is possible. You’ll have ownership, accountability and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leverage client eco-system assets to provide client customers with a delightful, seamless, personalized experiences that drive acquisition and revenue generation activities on client channels, including desktop, mobile web, and apps.

- Manage the execution of acquisition and customer engagement initiatives from idea through launch, while setting and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders including senior leaders

- Leverage data/analytics to continuously improve and make sound business decisions, but know how to make the call when all the data isn’t there

- Work closely with business groups, product, engineering, finance, design, project management, legal and other internal teams to deliver programs globally

- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the organizations ability to meet its strategic, financial and technical goals

- Share best practices across cross functional teams within the US and globally


The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

- Tie the details back to the big picture with the ability to think strategically, persuade stakeholders effectively, and execute methodically

- Influence product roadmaps, letting nothing stand in the way of clarity and prioritization.

- Superior verbal and written communications skills across all levels of the organization

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where continuous innovation is desired as is bringing customer oriented experiences to market

- A demonstrated record of partnering with teams across the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals

- Partner with product and technical managers to identify and influence development of new acquisition and customer engagement initiatives

- Write business requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the product and development teams

- Ability to proactively generate and quickly execute actionable recommendations based on the synthesis and analyses of data

- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to drive projects to completion


Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math or a related field of study required

- 5+ years of experience in related positions

- Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics

- Ability to synthesize conversion funnel analytics, testing (such as A/B and multivariate), and customer insights into successful online marketing strategies

- Strong analytical and Excel skills


Preferred Qualification

- MBA / related credentials are preferred
