The Role:

Senior Product Marketing Executive with broad product/service marketing experience to develop and execute marketing campaigns for an exciting and invaluable service for Australian businesses.
Take ownership for driving brand awareness and lead generation through marketing campaigns in a very dynamic and competitive B2B market. While you will be working autonomously, you’ll be supported by a wider close-knit, collaborative and fun-loving team.
Reporting to the General Manager, Marketing & Communications, you will build their market position from the ground up working in partnership with the Commercial Manager and sales teams. You will be considered the customer and market expert, building real insights into how they evaluate and utilise their service – translating this knowledge into a compelling marketing strategy.
The omni-channel marketing activities – with a strong focus on digital channels, events, strategic partnerships and campaigns.
As the Senior Product Marketing Executive you will be responsible for executing the following tasks:

- Lead generation and awareness of service offering
- Conceptualisation and execution of campaigns in partnership with product mgt, sales and other relevant business units and partners
- Building a deep knowledge of our market, customers and competitors
- Communicating a market position that is differentiated, clear, defensible and commercially viable
- Developing and executing customer marketing activities, including awareness, product/service and customer education campaigns, events, promotional eDMs, digital marketing, social media and the creation of support collateral
- End-to-end campaign management including segmentation and triggered marketing, campaign and CRM set-up, tracking on campaign performance and ROI reporting
- Develop content marketing materials for lead generation or product/service upgrade outcomes – i.e. eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, articles, video

Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in marketing services within the B2B space in a fast moving market and very competitive market. You must have a commercial mindset and build a thorough understanding of our competitors; knowing what it takes to have their service offering stand out. You are outcome-driven and data-led with the ability to leverage creativity in a commercial environment.
Your marketing experience and excellent communication abilities will ensure success in pushing the boundaries of marketing and bringing multiple stakeholders along. You are also comfortable working with marketing automation, email and web platforms.
Due to the independent nature of this role you will have demonstrated experience being successful in prioritising and juggling multiple deliverables on a tight deadline within an autonomous environment. Design skills would be an advantage but not a must.
In addition the following requirements will be required:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing Communications or similar discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years’ product marketing experience encompassing full marketing mix – digital, mobile, social, search marketing, CRM, traditional media and events
- Min 3 years’ responsibility for end-to-end campaign management and execution
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Google analytics and Adwords is preferred
- Project management and coordination experience across functional groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously at a high standard with a strong attention to detail
- Experience presenting to stakeholders and working closely with Product Management and Sales teams
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, Microsoft CRM, marketing automation, web content management systems & email campaign management systems
