Senior Product Manager

Our client is looking for a Sr Director of Product Management. This an onsite 6-7months contract opportunity. The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

This position is responsible for executing on the plans necessary to support the full life-cycle management of the Auto Insurance product portfolio to bring to market solution sets that can be “packaged” and delivered through our current distribution channels. These products/solutions may serve other industries outside of Auto Insurance, such as banking, and mortgage. The product manager will work with the Insurance Vertical team to understand market and customer needs and quantification of same, identification of new products and opportunities and their respective functions and features, enhancement or re-purposing of existing products and developing and executing on a product portfolio marketing strategy, inclusive of promotions, pricing and channel management.

A specific emphasis for the product manager will be to work with the internal team to successfully launch new products or solutions and support the Insurance Vertical Strategy in collaboration with other business units as well. The product manager will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the current product portfolio.

The position works across the organization, leveraging the skills and knowledge of pricing, product marketing, sales, market strategy, finance, and technology, as required to support the growth objectives of the Insurance Vertical Strategy. The product manager position also involves significant collaboration with the Insurance Vertical team around key growth areas such as risk and segmentation, credit-based risk scores, use of credit data for segmenting and quoting consumers and enhancing insurers marketing capabilities with data. Specifically, the initial focus for this position for 90 days will be the design, build, and go-to-market activities for assigned Growth Council project.

III. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Product Planning: Supports the strategic full life-cycle product plans necessary to penetrate the various segments of the Auto Insurance market and to appropriately respond to competitive products and services.
Builds and manages competitive matrix for each stage in the Insurance lifecycle
Works with Insurance Vertical team to identify market opportunities and clearly articulate market share analysis

2. Product Management: Maximizes growth opportunities of Auto Insurance Solutions Sets via a strong and comprehensive product portfolio strategy and marketing plan based on market and segment needs, including:
·Identification and development of new products;
·Enhancements and re-purposing/packaging of existing products;
·Maintenance of existing products;
·Sunset products not meeting market/segment needs and develop transition plans; Works with Insurance Vertical team to maintain and communicate the Insurance Product Line Plan;
Works with Insurance Technology and Operations teams to ensure that Insurance Vertical Strategy is the benchmark for all investment decisions.

3. Marketing Plan: Works with pricing, product marketing, marketing communications and sales to develop and execute on a comprehensive marketing plan to drive profitable growth of products and solutions in support of the Insurance Vertical Strategy
Liaison with internal marketing and communications team for assigned products.

4. Partnerships/Alliances: Supports the activities associated with a robust partnership/alliance strategy: identifying, implementing and managing appropriate product partnerships to drive revenue growth
