Senior Product Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the online marketing and merchandising strategy. This role will be responsible for driving quality traffic and network engagement for our client’s portfolio through site merchandising, promotions, experimentation, personalization and optimized content management our website and related channels.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background working within the gaming market and have a deep understanding of e-commerce practices and channels; a well-rounded online product manager with expertise in all aspects of e-commerce merchandising as well as website management and development processes.

Responsibilities include:

Own product management of the associated promotional inventory on websites and within games.

Drive and prioritize marketing and promotional campaigns throughout the Channel to maximize high value registrations our portfolio.

Drive site feature strategy and promotional inventory optimization

Optimize site search programming

Drive the site promotional calendar

Perform ongoing campaign analysis, optimization, and stakeholder reporting

Experimentation – design, run, and analyze A/B, funnel and other testing to determine and implement site capability and user experience improvements as well as optimal merchandising programs

Content and asset management – oversee content including text, imagery and interactive and social tools; ensure quality of all content on site; outline a content optimization strategy to maximize conversion and identify required capabilities to improve content targeting/personalization

Develop and maintain excellent relations with stakeholders in Network Engagement team





Requirements/Qualifications:

MBA - Preferred

Combined 5+ years of Site Management experience or Online Sales/Marketing experience, ideally running an e-commerce site

Strong Project Management experience is preferred

A proven track record of results, driving and growing a multi-million e-commerce business.

Understanding of electronic software download channels

Expertise in e-commerce best practices and trends

Understanding of the entertainment sector and a natural affinity with the videogames sector and free to play games in particular is a strong plus

Appreciation for effective web architecture and user experience strategies

Passion for innovation and problem-solving

Enjoys working in a fast paced, constantly iterating creative environment

Demonstrated experience developing measurable roadmap of web features and content to drive conversion, utilizing testing and industry best practices

Experience initiating and building mutually beneficial marketing relationships with internal and external partners

Customer-centric mindset, with previous experience marketing to the consumer segment

Strong organizational and analytical skills (experience in WebTrends and/Omniture or similar)
