Senior Product Manager

Top Publishing House is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for a temporary assignment with full benefits! Assignment has potential to extend if it's a good fit!

Essential Functions: 

•Drives the evolution of our consumer marketing platform, proprietary Audience Management solutions, online/offline marketing database & data monetization offerings.

•Contributes to the vision & strategy of our big data ecosystem including the CDS Global data lake w/ over three trillion data elements. 

•Drives data-driven solutions to practical problems, both well-defined & open-ended. 

•Works w/ customers in requirements development of & implementation execution of the CDS Global marketing database/consumer marketing platform solution.

•Collaborate w/ Product & Technology leadership to develop product goals & objectives to ensure profitable, customer validated roadmaps.

•Works closely w/ product management & engineering counterparts in order to support the overarching data product strategy & to deliver on product roadmaps.

•Collaborate w/ fellow Product Management Leaders to create integrated solutions across our technical platforms.

•Manage internal & external product roadmaps, including Feature & Technology roadmaps. Communicates to internal & external constituencies on roadmap progress.•Collaborates & coordinates w/ sales, marketing, IT & support staff to support product development & management & to ensure revenue & customer satisfaction goals are met.

•Writes & delivers Marketing, Product, Customer & Technical Requirements documents w/ prioritized features & corresponding justification.•Identify new product c&idates & advocates for them both internally & externally.

•Prepare & communicate budgets, revenue forecast, & projections.

•Develop core positioning & messaging for the product, including points of differentiation.

•Assistw/ development of sales enablement tools & training.•Work w/ external third parties to assess partnerships & licensing opportunities.

•May supervise product owners. May manage the hiring, training, & evaluation of staff. May monitor performance to ensure that goals are met.

•Maintains an in-depth comprehensive knowledge of the CDS Global business units, the fulfillment industry, & competitors.

•Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global & its clients’ proprietary information.

•Travels as required.Required Experience:•Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred, or equivalent education &/or experience maybe substituted for minimum education requirement.

•7 or more years of progressively complex experience in Product Management & Product Development.

•5 years or more of experience w/ Database Marketing

•Proven experience engaging directly w/ customers to evangelize company solutions, identify customer opportunity & collaboratively solve problems by using company resources & technology.

•Strong experience in more than one of the following disciplines: Marketing Database, Audience Management, Master Data Management, AWS, Hadoop, Scala, Elastisearch, SQL, Data Science or Data Driven Marketing.

•Experience in Requirements development & ownership, Product Lifecycle Management & Br& management.

•Experience in creating, maintaining, & communication Product Road Maps.•Demonstrated success defining, launching, & growing excellent products in new & established markets.

•Experience working w/ a technology group in large, complex product development.

•Excellent teamwork & negotiation skills w/ proven success in influencing cross-functional teams.•Strong convictions to w/st& pressure from numerous opinionated stakeholders.
