Senior Product Manager -Mobile

This Sr Product Manager For Mobile will lead property Internet and portal initiatives to help Marriott define, build, and operate the best online and mobile products in the industry. This role will deliver quality products and solutions to customers by understanding product strategy and customer needs, supporting the development of business cases, developing business requirements, and supporting product development and deployment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Gather and analyze feedback from the market, the field, strategy, marketing, and development
• Define market problems
• Build deep understanding of our customer profiles and needs
• Leverage market and competitive knowledge to identify opportunities and drive product improvements
• Assess product opportunities
• Create solutions, leveraging both internal assets and strategic 3rd party partnerships
• Define product roadmap and priorities
• Lead the creation of requirements and user stories for new product features
• Drive the development of new features/solutions across cross-functional teams (e.g. design, development, marketing)
• Coordinate market testing of new features
• Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
• Coordinate communication with internal executives, the field, customer care, and guests for product rollouts
• Manage product success metrics

Desired experience and expertise:
• 3+ years product management experience
• 3+ years ISP/Internet and/or portal/Internet gateway experience
• Passion for online and mobile products
• Entrepreneurial attitude, willing to take risks
• Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
• Ability to work with different people across a team effectively
• Excellent understanding of at least one line of business, and previous exposure or experience with managing products
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with ability to interpret and translate data into key learnings
• Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively with peers and senior execs
• Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative
• Experience in demonstrating leadership/influence and collaboration in a matrix-managed environment, and across multiple and diverse groups
