Senior Presentation Designer

Seeking highly experienced PowerPoint and Keynote designer with the ability to develop high impact presentations and a talent for visual design. This candidate is a visual thinker with a passion for translating and distilling information into a compelling visual story. This person will work closely with department staff including subject matter experts, marketers, designers, art directors, copywriters, and multimedia producer while ensuring that presentations are within brand guidelines.

Skills: Required skills:

5-7 years of experience using PowerPoint, Keynote, and Excel
An expert in PowerPoint and Keynote with the ability to create original design concepts, presentation templates, and apply complex animation sequences
Have strong conceptual skills as it pertains to presentations with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for aesthetics and design
Have advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Be able to create original graphics, infographics and design elements to support presentation development
Capable of working efficiently on both Mac and PC
Be able to successfully work independently and in a team
Have excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects proactively and meet tight deadlines
Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders
Be able to collaborate and work with all levels of staff, from peer to executives
Be able to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
Be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of multimedia software and experience with video editing a plus
Be able to bring knowledge of best practices for presentation
Be able to create formal presentation style guides from brand guidelines

Other essential functions include:

Collaborates with Brand and Creative Communications department to support Corporate and Product Marketing, Executives, and other teams to define project elements and translate written or verbal concepts into visual story
Shows an ability to reformat quantitative data and enhance visual formatting within PowerPoint or Keynote
Receives and works on projects at any stage of their development and/or complete revisions of existing materials
A solid understanding of current trends in typography, layout, image handling and color is a must
Possess the ability and desire to be a team player and work across departments to find creative solutions
Meets with team, as required, to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects
Completes other administrative tasks when required and in a timely manner
On occasion late evenings or weekend support may be required
Some travel may be required
Must have a strong digital portfolio demonstrating advanced PowerPoint and Keynote presentation development skills


Preferred Experience/Education Background:

Experience in life science, medical, healthcare communication, and/or pharmaceutical a plus
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
Have experience in an agency or corporate setting
