Senior Partnership and Experiential Manager – Cross Device

Manager is seeking a new position within the EMEA HQ Integrated Marketing Team, the role will be a Senior Partnership and Experiential Manager – Cross Device. They will be working closely with the team and partnerships.
The role will require travel in Europe and will involve working with the local markets providing guidance and best practice knowledge with the partners.
They will be looking at the ROI advising managers on the minimum return on investment from the data they have and will work with managers to help ensure that they are achieving this.

The individual will have proven background working in partnerships and on trials. They will be excited and passionate about gaming and new platforms for interactive entertainment and want to bring this to life to engage leadership teams.

The EMEA Integrated Marketing department are responsible for brand marketing, advertising, media, consumer engagement (CRM, Digital & Social), partnerships, experiential marketing and sports alliances along with ensuring alignment across campaigns with central advertising/media, PR.
The integrated marketing team will work across our full Devices and product portfolio – with objectives including market share, revenue, profitability and numbers of subscriber’s dependent on the product/ service area.

Role Purpose

The EMEA Partnerships and Experiential manager will own and lead the EMEA HQ Partnerships and Experiential strategy, planning and implementation for all devices and markets within the EMEA region.

Key Accountabilities

- Identify, drive, build and maintain long terms relationships with key EMEA Brand partners that deliver impactful Brand partnerships and significant trial opportunities.
- Engage with key Global, EMEA HQ and local market stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment and support for cross device (Surface, New Products) Partnerships and Experiential plans.
- Own and lead the key EMEA HQ centrally driven experiential/trial programmes
- Lead & Manage the Xbox and devices regional trial projects - gain stakeholder support and alignment, liaise with our Global and local market partners, drive clarity over the titles being trialed, manage the required security requirements, engage PR, social media teams to help amplify trial programmes.
- Engage and influence Global colleagues to optimize their thinking and strategies – for both partnerships and experiential/trial programmes across device.
- Work alongside key EMEA HQ and local market stakeholders to drive visibility, alignment and support to the EMEA partnership and experiential strategies and plans.
- Become a Brand ambassador/evangelist - through deep product knowledge
- Drive clear ROI for both partnerships and experiential programmes within EMEA.
- Build a strong Partnerships and experiential community within the key EMEA markets.
- Lead the partnerships barter process in EMEA – clarify, influence, gain stakeholder traction and alignment, deliver new barter guidelines that allow the markets to support significant local and regional partnerships.

Influence and Alignment with Key Stakeholders:

- Ability to influence global colleagues to ensure key partnership and experiential strategies are optimized for the EMEA region.
- Collaborate with all key EMEA HQ marketing teams and key stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment - product development, marketing and BI
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with the Global partnerships and experiential teams and with all key marketing and partnerships leads within EMEA.
- A self-starter. Ability to impact and influence; to sell your ideas to internal and external stakeholders and make them stick.
- Ability to resolve conflict’s easily and quickly via win win scenarios.
- A positive and passionate presenter who engages key stakeholders and potential brand partners.

Stakeholder engagement and leadership:

- Act as trusted advisor to local, regional and global executives on key strategies and plans.
- Develop and maintain extremely strong interpersonal relationships with key business stakeholders, winning their trust as an ongoing leader.
- Be the EMEA’s thought-leader and subject-matter expert for the global Interactive Entertainment Business team

Agency and team management

- Evaluate, negotiate and manage the external Partnership and Trial vendors.

- Optimize Agency team output, ideas and innovation.

Key Success Criteria

1) Requirements:

• Proven background working in partnerships/experiential area at a client or in an agency.
• Experience effectively managing agencies and getting value from agency work.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Experience working in a European or Global marketing role.
• Experience communicating with and influencing up to senior management.
• Ability to influence and motivate.
• Strong communication, cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders.
2) Technical /Functional Skills

• Strong presenter and inter personal skills.
• Strong understanding of partnerships, brand and experiential.
• Experience working with other brands.
• Experience of delivering brand partnership’s
• Experience of managing/leading trial programmes
• Preferable to have partnerships and trial experiences across Europe….or at least outside the UK.
