Senior Motion Graphics Designer - 3 months

Hours: 9 am > 5.30 pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our client's inhouse creative team. This in-house creative and production team supports the client's business areas across the whole company. The team always wants to be of the highest of standards and are looking for a Designer to join their Sports and News HQ design team, which is at the forefront of pioneering new, innovative, on screen graphics and presentations.

You will have:
- 4+ years experience
- Experience across all aspects of the output – 2D and 3D
- Experience using the full Adobe Suite - particularly After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Cinema 4D.
- Experience of and the ability to manage full project delivery 

- Excellent technical and software knowledge.

The Purpose:
The role of the Senior Motion Graphics Designer will be to provide leadership as well as inventive, inspiring and creatively excellent design solutions for live daily output and longer-term based projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Motivated individual who can deliver consistently and enthusiastically
• Leadership skills
• Help implement the brand values and ensure they are consistently reflected in the design ethos of the department and the on screen product
• Proven track record as an excellent creative
• Extensive experience within a broadcast design environment at minimum, designer level.
• Experience working within a live creative environment
• Broad interest and awareness of art, design and moving image
• Experience using the full Adobe Suite particularly After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Cinema 4D
• Some film/video shooting and/or directing experience
• Experience of working with high-end production facilities, and staff with specialist skills
• Awareness of technical and legal requirements within the broadcast industry.
• Must have a flexible approach, be self-motivated and a problem solver
• A love of sport and an understanding of the creative process
• Extensive experience of delivering design solutions for a television sport brand
• A good understanding of technical and production processes
• A understanding of editorial relevance and a passion for sport

Key Skills:
• Experience across all aspects of the output – 2D and 3D 


• Able to lead and direct a team of designers 

• Experience of and the ability to manage full project delivery 

• Excellent technical and software knowledge
• A mature and calm attitude 


Qualifications:
• Design Degree or higher
• A strong knowledge of production of motion graphics for broadcast or digital media.

Specialist knowledge:
• Excellent typographical and layout skills
• Good skills in compositing, motion graphics
• Flair for producing polished and appropriate design solutions that align with brand values
• Possesses up-to-date knowledge of the graphic design industry and the latest design innovation
• Strong photographic research skills

Industry experience:
• Awareness of competitors brands and work
• An understanding of the application of brand guidelines
