Senior Media Planner/Strategist-Digital and Traditional

The Senior Media Planner provides leadership, strategic direction and input for traditional and digital media plans for this in house marketing team. You will effectively leverage experience, knowledge of the industry and the company’s business objectives to push innovative thinking.

• Lead all media planning and buying
• Generate ideas and articulate "the big picture" above and beyond the detail level for client programs and day-to-day business activity
• Direct, develop/oversee planning objectives and strategies that coincide with the company’s marketing direction
• Provide point-of-view on various media in the marketplace
• Gauge media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
• Optimize based on client objectives and work with internal teams to ensure all elements of success are utilized
• Oversee budget allocation process for media and fees across all media platforms; accurately project costs and anticipate the financial results of plan revisions


• Detailed awareness of business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status and competition in the industry.
• Solid understanding of analytics surrounding digital marketing, attribution, digital media analytics and how to report against those analytics using site analytic tools
• Solid understanding of interactive research tools
• Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
• Must have a proven record of success managing full service accounts in an agency or client side
• Must possess strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative and verbal skills
• Superior organizational, interpersonal and management skills
• Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media
