Senior Marketing Manager

Our client, a MAJOR social media/networking company, is seeking a Marketing Project Manager with a passion for driving projects end-to-end, with an expected focus on the email channel and related tactics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing performance-based marketing programs to acquire and retain customers, ultimately making the customers more successful and accelerating revenue for the business.

The scope of this role includes the implementation, management, and optimization of customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing programs, and will likely focus on the email channel but may span beyond into other channels like SEM, landing pages, targeting, and general marketing project management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, looking at open rates, CTRs, conversions rates, and revenue
• Identify opportunities to improve campaigns and implement those ideas
• Collaborate with marketers to understand targeting requirements and goals for email campaigns
• Work with agencies to build high-performing email creative
• Build or tweak ad creative to make it work effectively on channels like display or native social
• Troubleshoot tracking issues to make sure we can measure campaign performance accurately
• Project manage other teams or individuals to make sure requests our team makes are completed on time and according to spec.
• Report on business performance using Excel or Google Docs

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years relevant marketing experience
• Experience in email marketing
• Experience in landing pages or online advertising
• Experience in complex fast-paced environments managing multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail and organization is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a performance-based marketing role in a B2B, SaaS, or ecommerce environment
• Experience working collaboratively with analytics, operations, finance, and other teams
• Hands-on experience with advertising platforms (examples: LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Twitter). You may or may not be using them in this role, but your target customers certainly will
• Experience in data-driven decision making
• Experience with basic/easy SQL, Google Analytics, strong Excel Skills
