Senior Marketing Manager

Vitamin T is working with a local agency looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team! This person will play a vital role in driving performance and adoption of marketplace technology solutions and services that help brands, retailers and distributors drive demand and sale of products through leading online marketplace channels.

This role will be responsible for managing the performance of clients’ marketing programs to meet the business objectives of our retail clients. You will possess a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities necessary for brands and retailers to successfully execute an e-commerce business and communicate these to the clients as well as key internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the client's marketing and merchandising/promo calendars to ensure that the online marketing is in sync with the retailer's messaging
- Manage execution of client's online performance marketing plans
- Manage with goals definition, customer communication, reporting and problem solving
- Develop and optimize content at the product level for the client’s product catalog
- Generate marketing performance reports, providing analysis and execute on that analysis to ensure positive ROI where appropriate
- Audit the online channels to identifying opportunities for growth and enabling client success.
- Perform category mapping and optimization on behalf of the client
- Complete project requests and ad hoc tasks in support of the client’s business
- Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies through measurement and metrics development to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of objectives
- Manage client performance, growing revenue across Amazon, eBay, Jet.com, Newegg and other marketplace channels as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business or Marketing preferred
- 5-7 years of experience total in the marketing field
- Knowledge of marketplaces, digital advertising strategies, technologies and referral channels including Amazon and eBay preferred
- Self-starter that is able to manage through unfamiliar situations
- 2-3+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, and account management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid problem-solving skills, and demonstrated teamwork skills
- Ability to be self-sufficient, look for opportunities and figure out how to get there quickly
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on the analysis
- Strong understanding of online marketing venues, strategies and best practices
- Results-oriented, collaborative work style
- High client empathy and relationship building skills
- An understanding of marketing metrics, using a combination of art and science (data) to guide decision making
