Senior Marketing Manager

We work with some of the top financial services companies in the San Francisco Bay area and they're always on the lookout for experienced Senior Marketing Managers to manage large-scale marketing products and projects, specifically those related to digital.

Qualified candidates will have experience building and managing marketing initiatives as well as managing the budgets for those initiatives. You are a marketing manager with extensive previous experience managing projects, timelines and budgets. You work with cross-functional stakeholders to successfully deliver all marketing initiatives. You help lead and direct all external clients and creative/marketing partners & vendors on timelines, budgets and deliverables.

Must have skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
• 7+ years related experience required.
• Expert ability to develop and execute marketing strategy.
• Strong knowledge of CRM, database marketing, lead generation, and campaign management.
• Marketing experience in the following channels: digital, search, mobile, promotional, below the line, and CRM.
• Agency management; budget management.
• Experience working across internal cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with external clients.
• Experience in Financial Services or Consulting or Technology enterprises.

Roles and responsibilities:
Our clients look for candidates with experience working on projects that span from Digital Marketing, Promotional Marketing and CRM work. Budget management is a requirement.

Act as the primary point of contact and leader for the financial aspects of the cost of marketing plans and implementation such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and strategies. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
