This is a new role that will own the creation, execution and performance of B2C marketing strategies for new and existing digital products. Initially focused on the Australian market, this role will also have the opportunity to shape a global pattern for B2C marketing.
The first priority for the role will be to focus your efforts on developing a go-to-market strategy for a new online destination and its two products. It's a lean team that requires a start-up mindset – capable of creating innovative strategy while also rolling up sleeves to deliver results.
Key skills required...
- You're an expert, senior marketer with a proven track record of owning all stages of the customer journey. You are experienced in leading the development and execution of successful direct-to-consumer marketing strategies for brand new digital products, from prototype through to MVP and then to market at full-scale. The role requires a truly agile marketer – it's in your DNA to test, measure, learn, refine and repeat.
- You're adept at navigating a large organisation and getting the most from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and enablers, including product managers, technologists, designers, legal teams, customer care teams, project managers, agencies and partners.
- The role will have the autonomy to build and evolve a high performance marketing execution model from scratch – you will be responsible for deciding what capabilities should be executed inhouse and when to look outside and partner with agencies and suppliers for the best results.
- To thrive in the role, you are a commercially savvy, energetic, digital native who is regarded as a trusted expert and thrives on working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across a large organisation, while also being very comfortable in working at quick-pace in a smaller multi-disciplined team.
