Senior Marketing Manager

A top CPG company has an immediate need for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative marketer to lead key initiatives for the Franchise Brands team. In this critical, high-profile role you will drive the development and execution of brand strategy and cohesive marketing plans, and the management of brand financials and budget to achieve revenue and profitability targets for a portfolio of brands. Partnering with internal and external resources, you will develop and execute integrated consumer and retail programs and ensure executional excellence, managing brand programs on time and budget. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Drive the continued growth of the Franchise, and develop new go-to-market brand and retail strategies for this exciting entertainment brand. 
• Develop US market strategic business plans to achieve brand financial goals. 
• Create, execute and manage a fully integrated marketing plan, including consumer communications strategy, comprehensive media plan and consumer promotions. 
• Develop brand financial strategy including pricing, ship plan and budget management across all categories. 
• Responsible for driving brand revenue and profitability against financial targets. 
• Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build. 
• Analyze and track POS performance and utilize data to drive decision making. 
• Provide timely and consistent communication of brand activity and key information. 
• Provide strategic input and direction to Global Brand Team on product line, financials and marketing toolkit assets. 
• Partner with US Sales Organization to drive business at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations. 
• Drive growth and relevancy across other Categories beyond toy, through partnership with our Consumer Products team. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive brand/ strategy experience in forward thinking consumer organization. 
• Experience incubating and bringing to market new entertainment brands a plus. 
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field. MBA strongly preferred. 
• Functional experience and/or knowledge will include: 
• Proven ability to transform a strategy and vision into actionable plans in a rapidly-changing fast-paced organization. 
• Expertise at implementation of a fully integrated marketing plan. 
• Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally. 
• Strong relationship building and maintenance skills. 
• Outstanding verbal, presentation and written communication skills. 
• Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track. 
• Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters. 
• Expertise managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports.
