Senior Marketing Manager - Sm. Business

Senior Marketing Manager – Small Business is responsible for developing, managing and executing marketing campaigns to support the Small Business sales channel. He/she will partner with the sales and marketing teams to create marketing plans, manage creative development, and coordinate execution of marketing campaigns to drive retention and customer loyalty.

Specific job duties will include:
• Develop marketing plans in support of Small Business retention and growth strategies.
• Determine marketing mix, develop multi-channel approach, and ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with sales leadership and account reps to gather input and ensure plan is meeting sales expectations.
• Work with external agency and marketing team members to develop creative assets and coordinate campaign execution, including email, outbound sales calls, and digital.
• Ensure marketing campaigns drive measurable, impactful and accountable results; work with analytics and sales teams to ensure effective tracking and reporting of marketing initiatives/campaigns.
• Evaluate ROI of marketing programs and work with sales and marketing teams to ensure business and revenue objectives are met.
• Report regularly on marketing progress to senior leadership.


III. KEY REQUIREMENTS

SKILL-BASED COMPETENCIES:
• Proven skills, knowledge and experience in developing and executing marketing programs for customer marketing targeting small to mid-size businesses, with measurable results.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interface with sales teams on a regular basis.
• Ability to manage agency resources to develop impactful creative and messaging that drives business results.
• Ability to target programs and messaging to specific target audiences.
• Excellent leadership skills, with ability to adjust to changing needs of the business in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop, articulate and execute a compelling campaign plan
• Ability to understand financial models, with an understanding of marketing ROI, lead generation, and conversion rates.
• Hands-on, results-driven, with a passion for collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary project team
• Highly organized, thorough and detail-oriented
• Some travel required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably with demonstrated success in a matrixed, best-in-class B2B company
• Experience with customer lifecycle marketing in information, financial services or technology industries preferred
• BA in a marketing or communications-related discipline; advanced degree preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with email, lead routing and CRM tools, specifically salesforce.com and Eloqua
