A major global men's and women's apparel brand is in need of a Senior Marketing Manager, who will play a critical role in the development and execution of their email strategy and calendar. This person will report to the Director of Online Marketing. The position starts as a three month contract, with the potential to go long term for the right person.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

Email Strategy:
• Drive thought leadership and strategy for the email channel through hindsight analysis, testing, and market trends and the industry to maximize website traffic.
• Identify and champion email functionality updates that will help to enhance and personalize email content to drive engagement and sales; including strong partnership with the central email team
• Develop knowledge of customer, and find ways to optimize file based on customer data; have a customer-first mindset
• Build and drive the testing roadmap to optimize performance
• Lead ad hoc analytics and seasonal hindsights to drive new strategies
• Develop a compelling pre-season calendar through strategic leveraging of site stories and development of email specific messages
• Strategic lens and partnership with Store team, supporting traffic and growth initiatives across both channels
• Support the store customer base and drive the best omni-channel experience
• Ensure email campaigns are evolving and consistently optimized for mobile and emerging technologies
• Maintain email budget
• Understand market and competitive trends

Email Channel Ownership:
• Own in-season email calendar, develop strategies to react to business, partnering closely with Buying, Promotions, and Store teams
• Effectively collaborate with store marketing team to manage requests for email support and plan contingencies
• Create inspiring and strategic marketing briefs that balance the needs of the customer with overall brand business objectives
• Own in season execution of all email projects (creative review, linking, QA, deployment, managing CRM & email vendor teams relationships) in partnership with the production team
• Own all weekly email reporting and share out
• Oversee set up of US online related promotion codes and email campaigns
