Senior Marketing Executive

My client is a leading management and IT consulting and technology firm, their Global Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive, based in their Business Transformation Group (BTG), who combines a strategic mindset, strong execution skills and an ability to manage the expectations of key stakeholders.

Job Requirements

The right candidate must have competencies in the following areas:
• Planning and budgeting: Supporting the Business Transformation Group's marketing manager and Main campaign leads to plan and develop defined areas of responsibility.
• Stakeholder management: Managing expectations of multiple senior stakeholders for elements of the campaigns.
• Marketing campaigns: Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns in line with Global priorities across multiple channels including direct and online marketing, case studies, client events and PR
• E-marketing and social media – Understanding and executing the latest e-marketing techniques to position the company as thought leaders and to create leads.
• Marketing effectiveness: Understanding of how to measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing activity.

Experience:
• 5 plus years’ experience in a content led business to business marketing environment.
• Experience of applying planning and executing marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix to a defined business area – e.g. a sector, service line, or campaign.
• Degree level and ideally holding a recognised professional services qualification.

Skills:
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills – able to use a range of effective techniques and interpersonal styles to negotiate successfully, gain support from others and nurture key relationships.
• Project management and delivery skills. able to plan both their own time and small teams’ time across multiple campaign elements to be work to deadlines, multitask and prioritise in order to delivery campaign results.
• Strong communication skills – able to use written and verbal communication to inform, influence and direct others as required across campaign activity.
• Content shaping and creativity – able to shape information, informed by an understanding of the service line, and then contribute ideas on new ways that the BTG can take the content to market.

Personal Qualities:
• Self-starter, determined with achievement drive and a professional approach
• Personally organised with ability to work to deadlines, multitask and prioritise
• Team player – able to co-ordinate small teams of people with different expertise in marketing and consulting teams to delivery campaign elements.
• Able to handle change: Responds constructively and maintains emotional resilience in situations that may appear ambiguous or contradictory – Acts as a facilitator of change.
