Senior Marketing Associate (12 week contract)

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Position Summary: Provide marketing services to support capital raising efforts. Develop and implement comprehensive and effective marketing initiatives and tools to be used with prospective investors, financial advisors, broker/dealers and business partners.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide marketing services to support capital raising efforts. This will include developing initiatives, tools and campaigns to generate awareness and leads, communicate acquisitions, support sales efforts and so on.
• Provide coordination and project management services for marketing materials, including set up of project in marketing software program, timeline development, estimate requisition and budget management.
• Manage the approval process for materials, recommend and coordinate edits until a consensus is reached and secure final approvals from various departments, including compliance, legal and leadership teams. Track and record all approvals.
• Responsible for writing, editing and proofing marketing materials.
• Provide input on design and production of marketing materials. Utilize customer service and project management skills to orchestrate the design, writing, editing and production.
• Coordinate with and delegate to internal or external resources or vendors to complete projects as needed.
• Keep apprised of all relevant product and market developments.
• Ensure that all product materials are accurate and that all deliverables remain at the highest standards.
• Develop and update PowerPoint presentations, including edits to content, format and animations.
• Provide research services about industry, asset classes, competition, etc.
• May be responsible for providing administrative services, such as setting meetings, copies, filing, general communication, etc.

Required Competencies
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure, diplomacy in dealing with clients, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, flexibility to changing priorities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to operate with frequent unscheduled interruptions, and strong teamwork orientation. Must have high proficiency in the following Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Must be a strong BtoB writer (with real estate or investment industry experience preferred).

3-5 years experience in marketing/communication. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing or communications. Experience in financial/investment industry a plus.

Contract length: 8-12 weeks; Work hours can be anywhere between 8-6 (i.e. 8-5, 8:30-5:30 or 9-6).
Pay: $25/hr
