The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Data Strategist will play a key role in developing and implementing the data strategy and approach for digital analytics. The Team Member will be responsible for the unification of all primary data sources available, for the identification of emerging tools and datasets to maximize analytics capabilities, and setting and enforcing standards for data collection and use, including collection on digital assets (web, mobile, tablet, etc.) and customer data inputs.

What will I be doing?
The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Data Strategist will aim to enable the Commercial Services Analytics team to conduct the most robust analysis and reporting possible for data driven decision making within the Hilton Worldwide Digital space. The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Data Strategist will report to the Senior Director of Digital Analytics.

Other key priorities are listed below:
Provide recommendations for data unification across platforms to enable BI and analytics
Lead the design and development of a best-in-class Digital Analytics Platform implementation to ensure accurate measurement of traffic, monetization metrics and customer behavior on an ongoing basis
Identify potential opportunities for new and emerging data and tools to supplement or enhance current datasets and analysis
Maintain Adobe Analytics implementation and evolution strategy and governance
Develop and maintain best in class data collection strategies across digital assets and facilitate customer level of details
Learn business nuances of the Hospitality industry and develop tracking approaches in support of the business needs
Spearhead efforts on effective tagging management and use of available solutions
Act as a key point of contact to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships, with a focus on implementing a comprehensive digital measurement of new and existing Hilton Worldwide digital products
Will need exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions
Act as the representative for the Digital Analytics team as a member of the Hilton Worldwide enterprise project delivery core team
Act as the primary point of contact for digital analytics vendors including managing contract negotiation, the renewal process and ensuring contractual obligations are met by the vendor
Manage consultant resources and vendor relationships including project prioritization and workflow
Train staff in digital analytics platform functionality, best practices, concepts, digital reporting, and platform capability maximization
Act as the subject matter expert and primary support for digital analysts for any technical or implementation related questions
Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex analytical topics to a wide audience who may or may not be familiar with analytics or the subject matter
Ability to work with and be understood by both business and technical employees
Understanding of the latest concepts of connecting digital with customer data and provide guidance for implementing solutions that enable customer centric digital analytics
Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Ability to work well under pressure, to effectively handle multiple and concurrent demands
Ability to adapt to continually-changing priorities and to aggressive schedules, as well as appropriately prioritize responsibilities

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a Digital Analytic environment and using a Digital Enterprise tool such as Adobe
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in tagging implementation and different data collection methodologies, preferably in an eCommerce environment (Adobe preferred)
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in web development with a strong proficiency and knowledge of internet, programming and Web technologies (VB.NET, Java, HTML, XML, HTML5, Flash, JavaScript, proxy servers, Transact-SQL., web security, data warehousing, and content management systems)
A minimum of two (2) years of Supervisory experience
Advanced Excel and Microsoft skills; including SQL Server, Windows Server, and Visual Basic for Microsoft Office
Advanced experience modifying JavaScript
Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL and Schema modeling)
Proven ability in managing projects, including experience in gathering requirements for website measurement and tracking

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
MA/MS Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other related fields
A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience
A minimum of four (4) years of Managerial experience
A minimum of two (2) years of Analytical experience within Revenue Management, Data Management, and a B2C online distribution environment
A minimum of one (1) year of Online Marketing experience in analytics, reporting, and user feedback
Experience building and/or managing SaaS applications or systems
Experience with social media analysis and tracking, with a familiarity with Facebook Programming (Graph API, OAuth, FBJS)
Experience using REST and API data connectors
Data-mining, relational database and/or business intelligence experience beneficial
Proficiency with eCommerce and/or content management systems highly preferred
