Senior Manager, Product Content Strategy:

A healthcare software company is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Content Strategist to join their product team. The Content Strategist will work collaboratively with product managers, user experience designers, product marketers, and clinical experts to drive innovative content strategy and high-quality output across the healthcare product.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable editing and contributing, balancing both tactical and strategic priorities, with an orientation toward data-driven results. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing content from partners, monitoring the competitive content landscape, and driving the evaluation of content-related strategic opportunities for the product.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Drive content strategy and production for new products and features, including large, groundbreaking, content-heavy products, and manage existing product content, in partnership with the clinical education team.
Provide leadership across the lifecycle of product content from concept to wireframes to user testing to quality assurance/proofing to launch.
Lead evaluation of content-related strategic opportunities for the product organization, including evaluating potential partners and sourcing external content.
Develop, manage and optimize processes for successful content creation and distribution across all product-related teams.
Optimize existing product content for higher engagement and greater impact on behavior change. Consistently measure, analyze and report on content performance against key performance indicators. Drive and prioritize user testing of content in partnership with user experience team.
Serve as a member and potential leader of the two cross-functional editorial groups that oversee content across all divisions of the company.
Partner with colleagues in marketing and analytics to promote product content as a competitive differentiator.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
BS/BA required. Advanced writing degrees or coursework a plus.
Superb writing, communication, and editorial skills.
6+ years experience writing, editing, and directing content strategy for online consumer products.
Healthcare and/or benefits sector experience a plus.
History of successful content innovation in consumer-facing online products. Track record of ability to drive value for technology products through content.
Multimedia experience, including video and interactive content; SEO and social media fluency a plus.
Strong analytical skills; orientation toward data-driven results.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Familiarity with user-centered design.
Experience with multiple content management systems and web information architecture; experience building or selecting content management systems a plus.
Ability to manage multiple contractors and other external partners.
