Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Fundraising,

Vitamin T is looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Fundraising for one of it's largest non-profit clients in the Richmond, VA area.

Aside from the job description, the key candidate will have:
MUST Have non-profit experience (understands the culture and knowledge of fund-raising in this space)
MUST be technically savvy (does not need to code but a strong understanding of digital technology)
MUST be a great communicator and able to run a small team of folks.
Includes: web content, meeting high revenue goals, prospecting through digital efforts, working with other departments in prospecting activities driven through TV/media.
This is somewhat of a "unicorn" of a role however you are looking for some key competencies within marketing and digital technology.

The Sr Manager, Digital Marketing and Fundraising, is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for online philanthropy, supporter engagement and emerging digital media initiatives, as part of the non-profits fundraising and brand enhancement activities. This includes leading and directing staff and vendors in online acquisition, cultivation, and retention marketing efforts designed to drive web site traffic, expand the number of supporters, and increase online revenue and engagement. Key leadership attributes include the ability to innovate, execute and cooperate.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the online acquisition of supporters (donors and sponsors) through traditional and emerging digital media channels, and works closely with the Sr Manager Acquisition to integrate digital efforts with offline marketing strategies (DRTV, events, F2F, etc.).
Primary business owner of companies website, establishing cross-functional collaboration with other divisional staff (Programs, Sponsorship, Finance, IT), to ensure that accurate and appropriate front-end functionality, content, and brand requirements result directly in revenue- and lead-generation for donors and sponsors.
Communicates with impact to external audiences; plans and directs e-marketing communications and digital cultivation initiatives (email, mobile, web, social media). Updates webpages and develop plans for enhancing the overall online donor experience. Also works closely with Sr Manager of Renewal to enhance touchpoints and overall donor experience.
Directs the planning and buying of SEM advertising (paid search, display advertising, remarketing, affiliates, other).
Develops and implements SEO strategy, creates and manages social media, supports advocacy initiatives, and promotes corporate partnerships.
Supports the development of new revenue-generating online products.
Assesses online media needs and identifies opportunities to strengthen marketing efforts. Tests new and innovative ways to reach supporters online. Influences conversion and giving through messaging, promotion and landing page optimization.
Maintains superb content, data and branding across all online channels. Works with MarCom Director on developing content strategies.
Manages the work and performance of all digital consultants and vendors.
Assesses, monitors, and recommends ongoing usability and functional web requirements.
Leads, manages and develops staff including hiring, coaching and performance management.
Other duties as assigned by the Director, Direct Marketing.
With support from the Director for Analytics, develops and manages systems to track and report on the effectiveness of digital fundraising plans and site engagement.
Required Skills
Knowledge of web application security considerations
Ability to prepare income/expense forecasts and reports and manage the department's budget
Excellent project management skills
Willingness to learn about international relief and poverty issues
Ability to travel (domestically and internationally) required
Integrity and strong sense of professional ethics

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in online fundraising
Minimum two (2) years of team management
Advanced technical skills in the areas of: CMS, CRM platforms, Google Analytics, social networks, SEM/SEO, mobile/SMS, HTML/CSS, email marketing systems, E-commerce, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.
International relief and development experience preferred, child sponsor acquisition a plus
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in marketing, business, public relations or communications or equivalent experience required
