Firebrand is pleased to once again be partnering with this tier 1 organisation on this Senior Manager level position, confirming their ongoing commitment and focus towards their customers within the online market place.

Operating in a multi-brand environment, with over two million online customer interactions per day and considerable growth across mobile and broader web channels this opportunity exists to lead a team 25 and oversee the day to day management, leadership and governance of all digital assets across multiple channels.

Spanning website operations in terms of content delivery and business architecture, channel growth by way of strategic direction and innovation, continual online customer experience refinement considerate of design usability, overall website management and ongoing evolution in line with emerging trends, accessibility standards and increased acceptance this all encompassing role will see you firmly in command of relevant production and development teams as well as working across a myriad of interdependent stakeholders across risk and compliance, security, content, product, marketing and of course sales.

At the very heart of this role is the objective to deliver an exceptional online customer experience that considers content management system capabilities and channel growth through innovation and strategy.

To set some expectation around this role if you feel like this is something you’d like to consider and why would you not, this role is production heavy and by production it is with reference to the creation of digital assets surrounding content, supporting online tools and functionality all geared towards making the user experience as pleasant as possible, as happy customers online turn into happy purchasing customers online. From a content perspective this isn’t an editorial role, nor is it a marketing or SEO focused role. It is about CMS management, operations management, workflow management, stakeholder management and direct report management.

So if you’re finding yourself after a solid 10 years + experience in online and content management, e-commerce, digital production looking for a change you’ll not find a better opportunity of this nature on the market today.

Within your 10 years there will be an expectation that at the very least 5 years will have seen you lead teams of considerable size and scale either locally or remotely. You’ll be an operational expert, be well familiar with navigating internal stakeholder landscapes and above all, be able to engage, inspire, influence and energise all those that are around you.
