Senior Interactive Art Director
As a member of the digital design team, the Senior Interactive Art Director conceptualizes and creates the design of outstanding digital products and experiences as well as social media assets, and also supervises and directs our of team artists and designers (leveraging talent from both print and digital departments), participates in the strategic shaping of interactive projects, and executes for our entertainment clients under the direction of the Executive Creative Director and Digital Creative Director.
This position requires a proven track record of exceptional conceptual and strategic thinking for marketing entertainment products on the web; executes high quality design work on assigned projects; regularly reviews creative work with the group’s senior creative staff to get feedback on direction; the ability to tackle more responsibility with less supervision on more sophisticated projects; the ability to articulate the rationale behind their work, and be able to discuss that rationale with creative directors, and account executives; having the desire and aptitude to supervise Mid-Level and Junior Designers; providing conceptual, strategic, and professional leadership for the team as a whole.
Proven, superior ability to develop innovative and on-strategy designs which are highly resolved from a formal perspective, and which meet the objectives of the assignment.

Good at presenting and “selling” the worth of creative ideas, to influence decisions with creative directors and account executive.

Excellent to Expertise skills with design software used in the design process, including, but not limited to, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience with HTML5 a plus, but not required.
Advance Design and building skills.
BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline
Minimum 8 years relevant (preferably agency) experience specializing in visual design and marketing for the web.
Experience working with entertainment (movie, television, online) clients
Experience creating websites, banners (HTML5, progressive and rich media), iOS assets (apps, iBooks, magazines)
Experience creating social media assets – shareable videos and stills
Understanding of information architecture, wire-framing, prototyping, and image compression
Solid knowledge of the requirements of the creative process including typical time and resources needed to produce with efficiency quality work on time, and to specification.
