Senior Interaction Designer

As an Interaction Designer for this top tech firm, you will work with creative leadership and key marketing partners to deliver our product and services to the world through our websites, apps, mobile and experiences. The Designer will contribute to the development of key interactive experiences and flows that is consistent across the brand. You will collaborate daily with a diverse set of specialists from information architects, marketers, project managers, writers and developers to deliver these campaigns, sites and experiences.

Specific areas of focus:
-High fidelity digital assets and collateral for webpages, mobile apps and services
-Design for company's various brands, software, and services
-Storytelling about key initiatives

Responsibilities:
-Take ownership of one or more parts of the user experience, designing the interactions and interfaces.
-Create documentation (including design rules, pixel perfect mocks, animations) that fosters a delightful user experience.
-Participate in user experience research and usability studies.
-Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts.
-Execute against several workstreams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver strategically sound, conceptually based, iconic experiences

Preferred qualifications:
-5 – 8 years of experience at a world-class creative interactive agency or in-house interactive team
-Strong Interaction design work: Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and mockups
-Strong Visual design work: Comfort with generating graphic representations a creative and rich visual language; on-screen graphic design, Illustration, Data Visualization
-Fluent in creating quick and dirty prototypes + Coding for web and/or mobile app experience a big plus
-An awe-inspiring portfolio of websites, apps and experiences
-Detail-oriented and organized
-Knowledge of design and technology trends and how to apply these to projects
-Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch and other web design tools.

-You’re a systems thinker; you can logically visualize complex systems, user interaction flows and beautiful user interface.
-You can articulate the value of design through verbal and visual presentation.

Candidates will be based out of SF but will need to be able to work out of both San Francisco and Mountain View, CA.
