Senior Integrated Art Director

We are looking for a freelance senior integrated art director who is fluent in German who comes from an agency background.

A global recruitment company is looking to recruit an Art Director to work within their advertising team in Central London, or Germany or even from home. The client has around 5 big accounts that they work with one of them being German, so the German speaking aspect of this role is a must have to be accepted for this position.

The company is a fast-growing international business that is looking for brilliant minds that can develop innovative creative strategies. This will not just be for them but for their other clients as well to help them recruit all over the world. This may involve TV adverts, web rebuilds, virals, mobile apps and printed materials.

The client has big plans. They want to redefine the recruitment industry and are looking for an ambitious and talented art director to help them do it. The client is five years old, but they have gone from a start up to a global team - the creative team being around 25 people. Other offices are located in London, Singapore, Poland, Australia and the US.

One day you might be creating a website, the next, designing an experience day. The work will encompass print, social media, branding, online and press advertising and more – but that won’t faze you. So if you have experience of working on projects across the marketing mix, and you are keen to broaden your portfolio then we would like to hear from you.

From an Art Director we are looking for:

· Proven ability, with a portfolio to back it up that shows print and digital expertise.
· Experience of working with big brands.
· A flare for ideas, collaboration and creative strategy, not just execution.
· The ability to work well under pressure, to tight deadlines and to present your work to clients.
· Knowledge of the full Adobe suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator), and Microsoft Office – any additional creative software would be an advantage.

Where will you fit in as an Art Director?

· Taking briefs from clients and working in teams with different copywriters to come up with great ideas for integrated campaigns and then seeing them through to go-live.
· Staying on top of developments in the digital world.
· Mentoring juniors.
· Owning projects, directing juniors and freelancers as needed.
· Proactively arranging brainstorming sessions.
